About ICRI
The International Conference on Research Infrastructures (ICRI) is the flagship global forum for strategic dialogue and international cooperation on research infrastructures (RIs). It brings together scientists, policymakers, RI directors and operators, funding organizations and industry to share best practices, align priorities, and help shape the future of the world’s most advanced facilities, services, and data ecosystems.
With a long-standing, truly international track record, ICRI has been hosted across continents - from Copenhagen (2012) and Athens (2014) to Cape Town (2016) and Vienna (2018) - and more recently Ottawa (virtual, 2021), Brno (2022), and Brisbane (2024). This continuity reflects ICRI’s role as a trusted meeting point for the global RI community, convening leaders and stakeholders to address shared challenges and deliver societal impact through research infrastructures.
