Therapeutic Innovation Australia (TIA)

Therapeutic Innovation Australia (TIA) brings together Australian research infrastructures that support the translation of promising ideas into new medicines and therapies. Our network provides specialised services across small molecule therapeutics, RNA products, biologics and vaccines, and cell and gene therapies. We support therapeutic development projects from Technology Readiness Level 3 to 6, helping researchers and industry cross “the valley of death”.

To encourage access to these capabilities, TIA has developed the Pipeline Accelerator, a competitive voucher scheme that subsidises up to 50% of the cost of accessing our facilities. To date, the Pipeline Accelerator has made 359 awards totalling over $11.8 million, with a 54% success rate. We look forward to connecting, sharing experiences and exploring partnership opportunities with the research infrastructure community at ICRI 2026.
